Author’s Notes on The Dragon Guardians of Greyd’ria    Book II The Alliance

All went black…

It's like in the great stories, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. Sometimes you didn't want to know the ending, because how could the ending be happy? How can the world go back to the way it was, when so much bad happened? But in the end it's only a passing thing. The shadow... even darkness must past, and a new day will come and when the sun comes it will shine out the clearer! Those are the stories that stayed with you! And meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But now I think, i do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories... had many times to turn back even though they didn't. They kept going...because they were holding on to something… that there is still good left in this world, and it’s worth fighting for!

Greyd’ria II was a more fun book to write, because the beginning is hard and a bit boring where you have to make a foundation. And then with the second and third book you and have fun and finish however you want. And with the second I had fun! And I seemed to get use to making my writing more English and proper, then my past, which I liked because it makes it cooler and better descriptive. I loved making the new dragons especially Gler`tonidas, and The Demon Dragon King. I love writing about the elder dragons of our time here on earth. Tall mighty dragons, not two legged dudes, it’s cool and I don’t know a more magical feeling! Also with the help of Howard Shore and his Complete Recordings of The Lord of the Rings I-III (soundtracks).

I left a huge cliffhanger for Book III, which will be named: The Return of the Guardians. Book III will be much darker! More death and violent, for it is the last book so it’s like a chaos apocalypse story. Really dark! And I’m going and try and reach over three hundred pages for Book III! But first before Book III I’m writing two other books, as bigger cliffhangers haha!

Kind of proud I did not use any serious or no swears at all! Only thing I used was bastard… for Muradin.

Like Dragon’s Cousin I-II, I didn’t want to drag it out I want to keep it like Angels and Slayers short with a quick ending no dragging out bla bla. However… I wanted each chapter really long! Each chapter was a total of nine to seven pages from Microsoft word font eleven.

Whoever has read Ghost’s story and then read mine…no it is not the same or steal any thing. Except I did take some elfish words if I ran out of words I made up in my head haha. Everything else is from my head…



-Unanswered Questions-

-After the battle with Merry, Edmund, and Gler`tonidas. We never heard of them again? What happened?
Do not worry! The double trouble boys will be back! And also with Gler`tonidas! Merry and Edmund will have big roles, as well as Gler`tonidas! Ones that lead a huge victory, and the death of a huge bad guy!

-Will Hortense ever die! He keeps running away like a girl!
Without the second main bad guy, there really isn’t a point of Greyd’ria. Well, there is, but I have good plans with Hortense. Will he die? I’m not saying…will he live? No probably not.

-Max and Altair will they reunite and love each other father son wise?
Well… ok in Book III. Altair and Max will meet each other two more times. Then the rest is unknown….

-Gandoor’e why! Why!
Even though Gandoor’e was the old jolly guy we loved, he might come back he might not! So suck it up!

-The Demon Witch King of Agamenond he’s awake hurray? What’s the big deal?
Ok, one he is probably marked now as enemy number one! He’s a serious killer who will show no mercy, and will not hesitate to kill, someone not of his kin. He is a huge threat to Light and the alliance in Book III and you will hate him, I will make you hate him. He causes two deaths of important people….

-Elessar… bad to good? What the hell Ryan and Mark!
Elessar was an idea made from Mark, not me! Well kind of me. He has a good and nice role in Book III, so he is a good guy! Will he die? We do not know.

-Any more bad guys?
Well so far we have: Sora’Gothma, Hortense, Nyra, Zi`, The Demon Dragon King of Agamenond and Tichondrius. Like we planned, we had a good guy [Zi`] go bad. And yes Tichondrius is still alive and threatening. And I plan on having two Draconian General having a name and a part….

-Is there a sad ending in Book III?
-Sighs-   Yes, there is a sad ending in the second to last chapter in Book III. Mark and I have already written it and will go over and over it to make it sadder. And we hope, and we really hope! It brings you into tears, and write sad comments…. The chapter’s name is called: A Journey to the Ancient Havens / Into The West

I cried a bit from reading it…haha… it’s sad, cause it’s letting go of someone you love so dearly and I can relate to that so… we really want the readers to be extremely touched. It evolves: A Far Green Country.




Characters of Greyd’ria

Maximilien Shur’tugal- Max bears the Mark of Sora’Gothma, which means Max is one of the Six holding Sora’Gothma’s soul. Max’s father is a Red Dragon son of Sora’Gothma King and Lord of Dragons, as well as king of darkness. His mother is human making Max the first halfling of Dragon and Human.
Age: 15

Emir Todd – Emir is man nothing more and a good friend to Max. They have been friends since the age of four, dreaming of adventure one day, from their childhood games. Fallows Max to the end of all things, even into the pits of Helgrind.

Merry Smith – Merry is a good friend of Max, Emir, and Edmund. One of the troublemakers of the Alliance, lazy and a thief.  Is a warrior at the end, and a good fighter. One of the smart troublemakers compared to Edmund. Yet grows responsible during the journey.

Edmund Took—Edmund is not a bright boy, always causing trouble and breaking things, has a deep curiosity for what is going around, and loves shiny and gold objects. One of the troublemakers of the Alliance, lazy and a thief. Yet grows responsible during the journey.

Altair Shur’tugal – Altair is the son of Sora’Gothma Lord of the Dragons and King of Darkness. Still in the egg Altair’s mother sent him to her father who retreated to the Forest of Ga’Hoole to escape Sora’Gothma’s wrath. Altair grew with the elves and soon unlike his father cared for humans, elves, and dwarfs. Married Sophie and bore a child Maximilien, a boy his first child. After loosing Sophie Altair two years later married a dragon named Jaina and bore a second child Tyrande.

Strider Morzon – At age twelve he was exiled along with his brother and sister from their father the King. Strider lived as a ranger of the North and East. He rode off and on but mostly staid in Ga’Hoole and Espleriron. After Altair left Max, Strider looked after his nephew at the age of one year and two months old, in the Kingdom of Brooklyn Far East. Dies protecting Max and the Alliance from Mannoroth the Dragon of Green.

Illidan Morzon – At the age of elven he defeated the Dragon of Darkness Sora’Gothma, the dragon’s last words to Illidan were he would be cursed living without dieing, and soon would be exiled from his Kingdom for a unknown cause. Soon the curse affected his older brother and younger sister. Illidan spent his life hiding from Helgrind where evil lied. Soon joins the alliance and fights with his nephew Max. The true heir to the Kingdom of Men, but does not except it… for he can’t for exile still bears in the curse. The true heir to the Throne of Men.

Alzhara Greenleaf – is an elf of thee Forest of Pandera with her cousin Kale`. She spent her years fighting The West protecting her country and the country of her allies. Has a secret feeling for Illidan, no one knows but her self and Altair. Joins the Alliance as one of the three elves. Her father is Fundor Greenleaf.
Age: 3,750

Kale` Greenleaf – is an elf of the forest of Pandera, his cousin is Alzhara and Uncle Fundor. Dies at the battle of The Fortress Gates of Hildoor dies in Max’s hands.
Age: 987

Kim`aina Ravenfire – she is princess of Minas Hildoor she is the only girl of her three brothers. Is the only woman in her country that will fight for her freedom, she believes that woman ought to fight for something, instead of hiding behind walls and chores. Is in a Forbidden love with a dragon: Zestos. She deeply loves him and him to her; she bears two kids with Zestos.

Zestos Codex – is a large brown dragon that in the beginning serves Hortense as a student. He fails his master many times and is banished from Helgrind his old home, only thing remains from his master is three slashed on his face/eye. Is captured by elves and chained, soon Meets Kim`aina Ravenfire and soon falls in love. Soon he joins the Alliance, and loves Kim`aina. Bears two children with Kim`aina. He is the son of The Demon Dragon King of Agamenond [Kel’thuzard Codex].

Rosalind Ravenfire – Rosalind is the daughter of Zestos and Kim`aina. She is pretty quite in the book, and is easy with her dad, unlike her twin brother. Is the oldest twin.

Ajax Ravenfire – Ajax is a baby with his father’s eyes, and is the son of Kim`aina and Zestos. He annoys his father to the max, and yet loves his dad. He is active and cute at the same time. Is the youngest twin.

Muradin Bronzebeard – Is the main dwarf in the Alliance, lives in the Graybeard Mountains with his family. Muradin is allies with elves but has a thing about them… being perfect. Is a lazy dwarf in the book but when war rages he is an animal.

Gandoor’e Lithe-- A very old elf that has seen many things in his time. Is like a father to Alzhara and to Kale`. Was there when Altair first hatched and took care of him with Altair’s grandfather. Gandoor’e watched Altair grow and watch him become the dragon he is today. Gandoor’e is a wizard elf knowing spells such as a lighting spell seen in the second to last chapter. He is very good friends with Altair’s grandfather who will be seen in the next book. Falls in the Dwarf City of Durin by the Demon Dragon Kind of Agamenond.

Gler`tonidas O’rtiel [Shur’tugal] – Is the Grandfather of Altair, and Great-Grandfather of Max. Gler`tonidas teaches Altair as a hatchling how to be and fight like a dragon. Also trains Max to be a dragon, also fights with Merry and Edmund at War`slaw. He is wise and old.

Sophie Morzon—She was one of the cursed and sister of Illidan and Strider. Older than Altair she fell in love with the dragon as he grew, her only friend was Jaina. After a long time knowing each other Altair and Sophie married and matted making Max. Together they loved their son. Until she passed on from Hortense sin.
Age: 5,009

Jaina Twilight – Is Altair’s Mate. She has been a good friend with Altair since the red dragon’s hatch day. She found Altair depressed from the lose of his old flame Sophie. She soon comforted him and rested him to health. Is a blue dragon and smaller than Altair, but bigger than Max’s dragon form. She has an egg with Altair making her daughter Tyrande. Dies in the claws of Altair at the Battle of Ga’Hoole.

Elessar Morzon – A Ranger and Captain of Minas Anor as well as Uru’baen. He at first does not trust Max and Emir, but later learns the logic of good and helps Max and Emir escape madness and gives them route to fallow to a save route into Helgrind. He is the youngest twin from Uther, also cursed like his older brothers and sisters.

Uther Morzon – A Ranger Captain of Minas Anor. He wishes luck and protection on his people in Minas Anor; refugee’s from the war hidden in the Forests of Anor. Is the only ranger who shows Emir and Max kindness and love as a Uncle.  He falls in battle from an Archer, slain by Illidan. He is the eldest twin from Elessar.

King Pyro – Is the King of the Kingdom of Minas Hildoor. Leads his men to victory at the battle of The Fortress Gates of Hildoor. He has three sons and one daughter. Does not trust his daughter’s love towards a dragon, Zestos. Is the grandfather of Ajax and Rosalind.
Age: 49

Jericho Ravenfire – Son of King Pyro, youngest child. Fights and lives. Fights a second time with Zestos at his side and wins.
Age: 12

E`wermer Ravenfire – Oldest son of the king. Is one of the captains of the guard of the Kingdom. He is very close and protective to his sister Kim`aina, and as well doesn’t have faith in Zestos. Fights side by side with his father in battle in Minas Hildoor, as well as the Battle of Ga’Hoole.

Murtoph Ravenfire—Is the second to oldest child of King Pyro. Gathers Thousands of Knights and charges in the Planes of Hildoor helping win the battle.
Age: 24

Shemnara Tres’goole – Aids Illidan in battle against Sora’Gothma. She is one of the four Lords of Espleriron. She aids Max giving his a potion to awake his sleeping hatchling inside him, waking his dragon self.
Age: 6,156

Hortense Shur’tugal – As the black dragon was still in the egg his father Sora’Gothma choose him to be the heir to the throne of Helgrind. Is the brother of Altair, and Uncle to Max. Is one of the Six bearing Sora’Gothma’s soul. He bears a hatchling Zuke regretting what he did t his infant son. He is the spitting image of his father.

Nyra Dere’moul – Is Hortense’s mate, she fallows him aids him on every mission the King of Dragons goes. Regrets not protecting her son, for what Hortense did many years ago. Is the Queen of Dragons.

Lurtz – Once an elf now a Draconian is a crusader for Hortense burning elf villages. Is about to kill Altair before Max kills Lurtz.

Tichondrius Lithe—Is the brother of Gandoor’e and now is a Draconian. Makes an army and sends it to Minas Hildoor. Is a wizard Draconian for Hortense his master. He is a huge threat to the Alliance in book II.

Balrog – Is a green dragon that attacks Minas Hildoor with his brother Mannoroth. Before Balrog hatched inside his egg bore two dragons him and his brother, when they hatched two green dragons popped out. Is the spitting image of his brother. Dies by Max.

Mannoroth – Is a green dragon that attacks Minas Hildoor, and kills Strider. Before Mannoroth hatched inside his egg bore two dragons him and his brother, when they hatched two green dragons popped out. He is the spitting image of his brother. Is killed by Zestos.

Zuke Shur’tugal – Son of Hortense. Left Helgrind cause of the madness of his father, and fended for himself all alone with his older brother, he meets and leads Max and Emir to Helgrind and all over The West. He is missed terribly by his father and mother: Nyra and Hortense. He is an important character in book  III.
Age: 12 maybe 9 (Hatchling)

Zi` Shur’tugal – Zi` is a hidden dragon from Helgrind, his scales are gray with is unknown why for no dragon has gray scales. He is first good and leads Max and Emir to Helgrind, but at the end turns to Sora’Gothma, and goes evil leading Max and Emir along with his little brother Zuke into a trap.
Age: 1,896

The Demon Dragon King of Agamenond [Kel’thuzard Codex] – He is half demon half dragon. Born from the fires of hell he is raised as a loyal subject to Sora’Gothma. Unknown if he and Sora’Gothma are related. He slain Gandoor’e in Durin. For many years The Demon King slept, and is now awaken to rein his fire upon Greyd’ria, his power is similar as Sora’Gothma. He is the father of Zestos, who treats his son unwell disliking him, for the fact he is not like his elder brothers and sisters, demons and dragons mixed, as Zestos has the blood of a demon, he does not use it.

Sora’Gothma Shur’tugal – The Lord of the Dragons, Lord of Darkness. As a hatchling Sora’Gothma lusted for power and knowledge, too much that his brain went into darkness and madness. He and his wife obtained six eggs and in each he placed his soul into it. He loved one of his eggs that was black, Hortense’s egg for he knew he would be the spitting image of himself. After his defeat his children were born except Altair who took two extra years to hatch. Now Hortense lies behind a portal in The Volcano Temple of Draco’Dooma, with fellow dragons. He needs his last soul, blood or soul to unlock it to be released. And he need’s his grandson’s blood…Max’s. Once released he will continue his rein upon Greyd’ria.

Cascada O’rtiel – When her husband Sora’Gothma ruled over Helgrind, and she had her eggs, she knew he would harm her children, from his evil and darkness. She bore no love for him anymore, she felt her children grow under her spell but one little red egg, Altair. Her scales were red and she knew her son in this egg would be Pure Light. She gave the egg to her father to retreat with the other dragons to Ga’Hoole. Before she gave her father the egg, she spent along time with it knowing she would never see her son grow up … apparently from Illidan she is still alive.

Tere`Roth – A brown dragon, one of the Light-minded. He helps in the battle of War`slaw causing tornadoes of fire to appear. Is old, and wise, and is mistaken for a tree by Edmund.

During the typing and making of The Dragon Guardians of Greyd’ria I used a lot of Lord of the Rings music. It was a huge help getting my ideas flowing… I will not list them, but I used the music from:

-Next Book:
The next book I will be working on is called: THE KINGDOM of the HOLY DRAGON. It is about a father who looses his wife and eldest son, and looses hope in the world, as he raises his newborn son. He soon fallows the path to the Crusades going to Jerusalem, with his father, a Golden Dragon.

Going to The Holy Land is more…than the father had hopped….
For God has abandoned him….

End of Credits

             An orb glowed bright red, mixed with the colors of orange and yellow. The orb was placed on a metal mantle of thorns. A Large vast dragon roared loudly, making fire exploded from, his mouth. The fire began to morph into words slowly below the orb, with a gust of wind helping. As the words formed the dragon wrapped its large red-scaled tail around the orb growling, its eyes flamed brightly. Words of fire formed: Fantasy Writer Productions.

             All went black…

            A drop fell into a small crack falling, falling non-stop. It fell through a rock like tube; it landed in a cave and fell on the snout of a large sleeping golden dragon. The mighty beast yawned giving a tiny roar yawn sticking out its forked tongue. Metal words shined under the dragon. Dragons Lover Pictures presents…

               All went black…

               A golden drop hung on top of a black ceiling; it fell into a small deep puddle. Ripples formed in the puddle going non-stop, it began to slow down tranquilly. The gold liquid formed certain words the ripples calmed down in the puddle becoming calm as a baby sleeping: IMAGINE Entertainment. Another drop fell making the letters vanish.

               All went black…
